I'm Kate
Hi there! It's so nice to meet you! If there's one thing to know about me it's that everything I do is with my family at the top of my mind. At my core I'm a wife, mom to three amazing kids, animal lover and the photographer behind Kate McCord Photography.
You'll usually find me with an iced coffee in hand, planning our next beach trip, or chasing my kids around with my camera because I know just how quickly these seasons fly by. I love genuine moments, big laughs, and the kind of photos that feel like your family...not stock photos in a frame.
I've been photographing families since 2019 and have had the honor of documenting hundreds of babies, children, and growing families throughout Central Pennsylvania. As a Master Newborn and Family Photographer through the NAPCP, I bring years of experience & safety training to your sessions, but my goal is simple: to make your session feel easy. I'll guide you every step of the way while leaving plenty of room for the real smiles, snuggles, and personality that make your family yours.
To put it simply, I want you to enjoy getting your photos taken! Not just the photos themselves.
I became a photographer because I wanted to preserve the little moments that disappear far too quickly. The tiny hands, missing teeth, belly laughs, and sleepy newborn cuddles eventually become memories—and these photographs become the way we hold onto them.
