Gone are the days of traditional weddings with traditional rules. Today's weddings follow one rule, be yourselves! YOU DO YOU BOO!
Say yaassss to what makes you happy and a big no to anything that doesn't reflect the people you and your future spouse are!
One fun way to express yourself at your wedding is through your bouquet or whatever else you'd like to hold to spice things up!
2. What the...succulents?
These bouquets are not only beautiful, they're also sustainable. With the roots left on, these succulents can be replanted in your garden or a pot and be enjoyed for years to come!!
This stunning bouquet is from Eucca on Etsy.
4. Fan Girl
A perfect touch for a late Spring or Summer wedding, fans come in all types of shapes, sizes, colors, and materials. The perfect touch of class, plus completely functional for fanning yourselves (or for ridiculously fun photos!). These boho fans by MADEBABECO on Etsy caught my eye!
5. Say it with Silk
Do you love the look of flowers? Hate that they wilt, break, die, and need to be watered? Silk flowers might be your new bestie. They look real, but they won't wilt and won't go to waste after your wedding ends. You can just send them back for the next beautiful bride to borrow on her special day! My bride rented her silk florals from Something Borrowed Blooms and they were fantastic!
Did you carry something unique in place of a bouquet or did you love the traditional look of a floral bouquet? You truly can't go wrong either way, but like I said before, the most important thing is to choose something that reflects you and fits into your dream day!!!
Yesterday I posted about Jaime's beautiful maternity session at Historic Shady Lane. Today I am sharing her baby girl's lifestyle newborn session. Jaime is a big cat lover, just like I am, so it was exciting to see the amazing way she incorporated them into Eleanor's nursery!!
This incredible mobile was so darn cute and the kittens even had little butt's stitched onto them. LOL! Mama bought this gem off of Etsy!
Babies don't keep. Just look at these tiny little features. Toes, fingers, ears, and noses. They all just grow too quickly!
The stars aligned when we got to shoot this session at the beautiful Historic Shady Lane in Manchester, PA. While it's an incredible wedding venue, it's also got beautiful grounds for just about any type of session!!! Jaime turned up looking absolutely beautiful and we had the most incredible session capturing her baby girl on the way!!
