You just had a baby. The last thing you need is to pack a diaper bag, time feedings around a car ride, and get everyone dressed and out the door by 9am. So here's my favorite thing to tell Hershey families: don't.
I specialize in in-home lifestyle newborn sessions throughout Hershey, Hummelstown, and Palmyra. I come to you with everything we need, including wraps, swaddles, and outfits from my client closet for baby, you, and even big siblings. Your baby stays on their own schedule, in their own space, and you get photos that actually look like these early days. The nursery you spent months on. The chair where the 3am feeds happen. The dog who has to inspect everything.
If your little one sleeps through the whole thing, wonderful. If they want to eat every 20 minutes, that's fine too. Nothing about this is rushed.

I hear this from almost every Hershey mama, and I promise you, it does not matter. I don't need a magazine-ready home. I need one window with decent light and about a nine-foot stretch of floor or bed. That's it.
Laundry gets moved out of frame, not judged. I shoot tight and intentional, so your photos show your baby, your family, and the corners of your home that matter, not the pile of Amazon boxes by the door. Families are always shocked at what their "messy" house looks like through my lens.
TWIN GIRLS NEWBORN SESSION IN HERSHEY
I don't photograph twins very often, but this session was easily one of my favorites. These sweet sisters slept beautifully, making it easy to capture individual portraits, photos of them together, and plenty of family moments. We photographed in their nursery and Mom and Dad's bedroom, and even included their lovable Bernese Mountain Dog. In-home newborn sessions are so special because they preserve not only your baby's first days, but the home and little details that make this season uniquely yours.

Hudson's in-home newborn session took place in Hummelstown, where Mom and Dad had created the most adorable nursery for their baby boy. You could tell how much love and thought had gone into every detail, making it the perfect backdrop for documenting these first days at home. We photographed throughout the nursery and made sure to include their sweet dog, creating a gallery that beautifully captured this exciting new chapter for their growing family.

This Hershey in-home newborn session features one of my favorite families—you'll spot them throughout my website because it's been such a joy watching their family grow. This time, they welcomed their first baby boy into a house full of three loving big sisters. Their home was the perfect setting for this busy family, allowing everyone to relax, play, and simply soak in those first days together. And of course, including their sweet dog in a few photos was the perfect finishing touch to a gallery filled with so much love.

BEFORE BABY ARRIVES

You text me, we pick a date when baby is roughly 7 to 21 days old. Older newborns are always welcome too, so if you're reading this with a 5-week-old, it is not too late.
ONCE BABY IS HERE...

I arrive, scope out your best light, and we spend a relaxed hour or two capturing your family. You stay in comfy clothes until we're ready, and nobody has to leave the house.

SESSION DAY!
Within a week, you'll receive your proofing gallery to select your favorite images. After you've made your selections, I'll hand-edit each photograph and deliver your final gallery, ready to download, print, and cherish for years to come.

Yes! In-home newborn sessions are my specialty for Hershey families. I regularly photograph newborns in Hershey, Hummelstown, Palmyra, and Middletown.
We can almost always make it work. One good window is enough, and I'll guide you on which room during our consult call. If we genuinely can't, my studio is a great backup and it's a straight shot down 322 and I-83.
Ideally during your second trimester. I hold your due date on my calendar and we confirm the exact session date once baby arrives.
Nope. My client closet comes with me: outfits for mom, wraps and bonnets for baby, and options for siblings.

Please, yes. Sibling and pet photos are usually the ones parents cry over later.
Newborns are unpredictable. Don't worry! With years of experience between my own children and client's babies, I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to keep your baby safe, comfortable, and sleepy. I'll send you a guide beforehand to help you prep baby as best as you can and if we need to take breaks to feed or snuggle, we will.
